DGSN Director Outlines a Yearly Reward for Police Officers
The Director General of National Security (DGSN), Abdellatif Hammouchi, issued a decree to disperse a financial reward to Moroccan police officers of all ranks, grades, corps, and specializations.
The reward serves as a recognition for the officers’ efforts in serving citizens and to further motivate them to work to develop security services and raise awareness of the challenges related to public affairs.
It is also intended to improve the social welfare of police officers that the DGSN works to improve.
DGSN launched the initiative last year, as part of the financial governance system it adopted in the last three years, which has enabled the payment of all financial arrears, including those related to staff indemnification for mobility.
The indemnification for mobility is now disbursed to police officers before they carry out the assigned tasks, unlike in previous years, when police received indemnifications after the mission and they were sometimes delayed for several years.
